WIOA Grant Opportunity

The workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federal program associated with the Department of Labor which provides workforce development grants. WIOA focuses on select applicants who are seeking or meet the following criteria:

• Employment and training services for adults, workers who have been laid-off and are seeking employment, dislocated workers, and youth and Wagner-Peyser employment services administered by the Department of Labor (DOL) and;
• Adult education and literacy programs and Vocational Rehabilitation state grant programs that assist individuals with disabilities in obtaining employment administered by the Department of Education (DoED).

HOW TO APPLY?

WIOA funding is determined on a case-by-case basis by the Department of Labor. If you meet any of the criteria mentioned above, please contact Burlington Code Academy for instructions on how to apply.

WIOA is a separate entity from Burlington Code Academy and requires an additional application processed through the Vermont Department of Labor.
